Home of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, IET London: Savoy Place offers state-of-the-art AV facilities, innovative catering and spectacular views over the River Thames.
The present Savoy Place was designed by architects Stephen Salter and H Percy Adams, as a joint Examination Hall for the Royal College of Physicians and the Royal College of Surgeons. The site, however, has a much longer and more notorious history dating back to 1246!
The venue now is the perfect blend of old and new: boasting cutting-edge technology and energy efficiency, while preserving the building’s unique character and heritage. There are 18 versatile event spaces, many (including the Johnson Roof Terrace) with stunning views of London’s iconic skyline.
As part of the IET, the venue offers unrivalled and intelligent digital technology, with advanced digital fibre-optic and ethernet embedded throughout the building. Guests can also explore inspirational exhibits celebrating some of the most innovative engineers and engineering ideas that have helped to shape our world.
